Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

My VFX-SD started acting up about a week ago - lots of static coming 
out of the audio ports and no sounds.  I kept getting "system error 
33 - reinitialize" messages.  Found a more recent set of OS disks 
(ver 2.1) and reloaded.  Now the midi works but still nothing but 
static at the audio ports.  I also sometimes get a system error 16 
message but the system error 33 keeps popping up.  Anyone have an 
idea of what those error messages mean?  I am really quite fond of 
this keyboard and want to keep it as part of my studio setup, so any 
information would be greatly appreciated.

If it is something that has to be serviced, is there anyone in the 
Atlanta, GA. area who still services this ancient artifact?

A direct response from knowledgable parites would be greatly 
appreciated.
