External Controller???

External Controller???

2004-02-20 by ckmurf

Love my VFX, not so hot for real time tweaking. Anyone know of a way
to adjust parameters in real time with a MIDI controller, like an
Evolution UC-33e? Maybe using an intermediate software package like
Midi Guest? Thoughts?

 Yes Unisyn works great.

Yeah Unisyn does work great, but not so real time right? But if you
are looking for a knob controller that will do a lot of things, I
would look into the Kenton products. I use the control freak Live to
tweak all the internal sounds of my Yamaha DJX-1,select sounds on my
MR Rack and MS2000 and I am sure I could use it to run the VFX, but
then, I am not using the VFX sounds as much as I used to and with
like 1500 to chose from, I don't need to tweak them. Looking at the
Midid implementation, I am sure it would work.
