Hello all! I just wanted to let you all know about my Ensoniq EPS I am selling since we are ll Ensoniq users I though some of you may be interested. ENSONIQ EPS KEYBOARD AND OUTPUT EXPANDER FOR SALE-ROLAND R8 AND 808 CARD! I am selling my Ensoniq EPS with output expander, 2 x memory expander, 200 sounds on floppies, extra new floppy drive and much more. THESE DRIVES ARE SPECIAL JUST FOR ENSONIQ AND CAN NOT BE REPLACED BY JUST ANY 720k or 1.44 FLOPPY DRIVE. Many people found this out later. With most of your sounds coming from floppy it is only a matter of time before they need to be replaced. The original is still mounted and working fine. 3) ENSONIQ 2x MEMORY EXPANSION 4) OEX-8 OUTPUT EXPANDER allows 8 more assignable audio outs on the EPS. Allowing you to process seperate sounds for live or recording purposes.This item is hard to find and people charge quite a lot for it. In my package it is included. 5) ALL ORIGINAL MANUALS 6) ENSONIQ SOUND LIBRARY. My entire collection of disks most were from the direct source disks of the EPS factory collection. Some factory issued disks as well are included.Too many to list around 200 disks sounds ranging from EPS standard library, EPS factory disks, classic Moog, Prophet, Roland, Roland Tr-909. Roland Tr-808. D-50, Mirage, classic 80's synths, loops, hooks, Orchestral sounds, Sound Fx, Korg, Yamaha, Alesis, and many many other synths. 7) MOST CURRENT MOTHERBOARD. The motherboard in my EPS was the most current version that they released and does not ever freeze up unlike others out there. All keys are in great shape and responsive. My reserve is low for everything that you are getting in this package. I am the original owner of this item. The keyboard is in tip top shape. I am only selling the EPS because I am only currently using it as a midi controller and I would like someone to use it for more than that. Please email me if you have any further questions. I am the original owner. 2) 1 Rom card SN-R8-04 "Electronic" Rom Card makes your R-8 sound like a Classic TR-808. Think a TR808 on steroids. This card is very popular and mine is included with the auction. All sounds are able to be editied anywhere from pitch, decay, velocity etc. So you can make your 808 kick drum hum or your 808 snare drum snap. All the great sounds of the 808 with editing and midi without the worries of gear breaking down or going out of tune. I am the original buyer of this rom card as well and it is in tip top shape. 99% of the time this card stayed in the slot of the drum machine so there is very little wear on it. 3) Complete original manual. 4) One very new Roland power supply. Very costly to replace. Condition: A few minor scratches on the unit. Nothing major in the scratches hairline and not noticeable. I am the original owner since 1988. Features: Large bult in sequencer and metronome. Built in features of the sequencer include real time programming and "feel" capabilities to capture those nuances of real drumming. 16 bit stereo samples. Crisp and clean. Many sounds from ethnic, electronic, powerful drums, accoustic drums, cymbals, Sound Efx. Everything you could need and more. All sound in the unit can be edited in many fashions such as pitch, decay, velocity etc.All sounds can be spread across the pads and played in multi format like a keyboard. Overall, it's a great machine, truly a classic among drum machines. Since this unit is of the first released models it will be worth quite a bit in the future. I love this drum machine but it is sitting around and I have 4 rackmounts of the same machine. I would like to see someone use this to it's full potential. used by many studios today and by these artists: Ramstein, NIN, Moby, Orbital, Underworld, 808 State, Dave Holmes, Fluke, Human League, The Shamen, etc...
