Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

I was playin a banquet last weekend. Half way through the first set 
my VFX went crazy. This is happening more frequently in the last 
month. Usually I need to re-initialize, re-load and go. This time it 
was NO-GO. Randam tones and notes were sounding, and keyboard 
sometimes did not work. I plug the damn thing Monday and it runs OK.
Does any body know why this is happening? 
What needs to be repaired?

any chance your using midi cables to another device ??
