Hello, Tim. This has happenened to me with my vfx-sd as well. Over a long period of time it just got worse and worse. Very unpredicable behavior. Now the keyboard is non-functional, but the unit does sequence from other midi input, and the disk drive is OK, so I can store and move stuff to and from disk and cartridge. Sometimes the sequencer still plays, but sends random sounds via midi to other devices. Sometimes it's trouble free. In my case, it was the motherboard. The "keyboard fix" has been done, but my machine is too far gone.
