Has anyone ever experienced a problem with their VFX-sd where the pitch seems to change on it's own and wherever the cursor is in the display window, the numbers change on their own??? Is it time to put my keyboard out to pasture? :-) Thanks! Erich

Pitch: check the pitch-bend wheel, see if it's giving a steady value. Press PRESET + COMPARE to bring up the analog tests screen, and look at the PTCH value; should stay at 64 or so when the pitch wheel is centered. Displayed value changing: Could be the data slider is at a spot that doesn't read the exact same way. If you move the data slider all the way to one end or the other, does it stop? > Is it time to put my keyboard out to pasture? :-) Maybe, but I wouldn't give up quite yet! --> Steve

Is it patch dependant? It could it be a pitch or mod wheel issue. See if you can disable the functionality through the patch programming. I've had issues with my mod wheel, on certain patches (e.g. sax). It's never been a big deal enough to fix it, but it's probably a pot. If your not squeamish about opening the unit, you may want to try an electronic contact cleaner. It either needs to be cleaned, using a spray cleaner made for electronics, or replaced.
