Hello Miles:

Here you are some basic and simple steps to check if aftertouch on your VFX is working or not:

1- Select a PRESET with aftertouch settings (I recommend ROM BANK 3, DOUBLE REED because aftertouch effect is very clear)

2- Check that keyboard response is not set to HARD (Press MASTER button and adjust TOUCH=SOFT-1, for example)

3- Press PATCH SELECT button and adjust PRESS=KEY (poly aftertouch) or CHAN (global aftertouch)

After doing that, a relatively light pressure on the keys should be clearly noticed .

Anyways, if you want a further verification, press PITCH MOD button and adjust MODSRC=PRESS and MODAMT=+99

If you cannot still hear the aftertouch effect, I\u2019m afraid there\u2019s something fried inside your VFX. I really don\u2019t know if there is any fuse inside that may be replaced.

hey again
can anyone help me with my VFXSD. i cant seem to get aftertouch to
work on it. i get get other modulation methods happening but not the
pressure one
and i have been into the patch select menu aswell and still cant get
it to work
is there some special way to do it or does mine just not work
