If you look at the analogs test page (preset+compare), you should be
able to tell, from the reported numeric values, whether the pitch and
mod wheels need cleaning.  It would help to know what the values
SHOULD show in the first place (sorry, I don't know!), but if you
don't get a smooth listing of lower to higher values as you move the
wheels, or don't get a value in the middle of the range when the pitch
wheel is at the spring center, then you should suspect them.  If the
numbers look good here, cleaning the wheels probably won't help.
