It is a Gameport MIDI-interface, with both MIDI IN/OUT and the gameport.

Ok thanks. I found a midi interface lead in Maplins for £14:99p. I will
get one. So, I connect the lead to synths midi in\out & the PC sound
card port, then what do I need to do with the synth to get the Midi
files into it?

14.95£ including extension leads or just the interface?
OK price anyway.

In the Files>Tools section here at SE there is a file called sdlib.zip
(or something close to that).
It is a (now) freeware Windows SYS-EX and library program. It should
prove very usefull.
And remember: Some midi-interfaces use the ´right´ naming on the wires,
meaning that IN on a plug means IN to the synth, but sometimes it´s
opposite, so this is trial and error till U get signals through. (U
can´t destroy anything with bad connection, so feel free).

I´ll return later today.

Thanks for the info. The lead has two game port plugs on one end and
two midi leads on the other.I
have no ider of it's length, has it does not say in the spec on the
maplin web site, but i'm hoping it will be long enough on it's own
with out haveing to buy extra leads as I can put the synth on the PC
desk to do the transfer!
