Yeah... send the click track to one of the extra set of outs on the VFX-SD, then run THAT to a mixing board (or even just an amp) aimed to the drummer

Whew! Thanks for that message. I can come back out
from under my desk now. I was starting to think that
you were going to send the VFX-SD gestapo after me. I
burried all my sequences out in the back yard next to
all my overdue library books lol. Seriously thanks
for that note, I appreciate it.

Ok, got a, what I think must be a basic SD-1
question. Here's the deal. My drummer follows a
click track I include in my sequences I play on
stage. I don't know but I "think" the way most bands
do that is the drummer wears an in ear monitor but my
drummer just doesn't want to do that - and I don't
want to push it. Is there any way to output a
sequence "click" track to the drummers monitor and not
have that track go out the main audio out?

Our music sounds great but there is a really loud
click just messing up the whole deal. I tried to
lower the volume on that track but then my drummer
can't hear it. Anyone have any ideas? Anyway to run
a track out the AUX and have it not play through the
main audio out? Any other ideas would be greatly
appreciated.

Buller? Buller? ....Anyone?

Thanks for the quick response! I do need some
clarification though. I do use a cymbal sound as the
click and I did try once to assign that sequence track
as AUX (and the others LOCAL and MIDI) and I still
heard the click out of the main output. ??? I'm
guessing that I did something wrong, right? Just
wanted to make sure that I have this right, the
click "can" go out the AUX without going through the
main output correct?

Thanks!

Michael

its not too much of a synth question
other than yes , make the fake click or real click
go out aux output on synth

from there its more of a mixer or stage monitor mix
routing , which is a simple audio path issue
you need to work out
most of your answer lies in the mixers abilities
or your bands ability to route the signal to ONLY the drummers monitor

dont ya love drummers who cooperate , kidding : )
(see i added a smile)

The answer is a simple one at that. If you call up your song on the
sequencer and then hit the "click button in the sequencer section of
buttons (middle section) you will see in the bottom right hand corner
the PAN = options. Here you can route your click to any of the
outputs on the keyboard. The thing to do is to run a seperate cord
out of one of the AUX outputs and select the click to be sent to the
corresponding AUX output. I suggest either AUX -L or AUX - R.
Probvlem solved and the click gets sent to an AUX monitor....Correct
me if I am wrong anybody---
