Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

Does anyone know if it is possible to play Midi File (Standard or
General Midi?) with my PC connected via MIDI interface to the SD-1
synth?
I tried but it plays all tracks with the same instrument. 

If Yes , How can I do?

I've never tried this, but if you remap each track in the MIDI file to an SD1 sequence track with the proper sound program assigned to it, the file should play properly.  Good Luck.

hi ..,

to the best of my knowledge VFS-SD1 is not GM complaint
but the reason you getting the same instrument on all tracks
is you probably you didn't change the VFX midi option to be in MULTI mode.
it seams that it's in OMNI mode.
check the manual on changing that
