Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

I am a life member of the handy man club.  I built a rack out of angle 
iron and it works good.  I noticed that there are very few racks 
available for sale, and those that are- pretty high priced.  So what 
is this thing I make worth? to a guy that needs a rack? what would you 
pay for one? Then I can see what materials are going for and come up 
with some kind of product that is cheap!

First...tubing is expensive, and second...special units are out, we 
really don't need a special "Rack stand feet", a simple shelf bracket 
would do..(I built another one for my alesis drummer and alesis 
midiverb stack!) It was simple...two tubes for each side, one as a leg 
stand and one upright as the rack mount. And it works real good.

I had a real sad heart tremor though.... there are alot of different 
rack sizes....
