Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

I just picked up a second backup SD1-32 voice, and everything on it 
seems to work fine except the transpose function. When I imported the 
presets from my primary instrument, everything else seems to be correct 
except the tranpose values. The transpose button/ data entry causes the 
values to change on the display, but not in the sounds.

Has anyone run across this before? Beyond cleaning any connectors on 
the boards inside, any suggestions as to a fix? I didnt see any 
relevant entries in the archives.

There's a global and/or midi setting about transpose, whether it
transposes sent, received, or both.  Have you tried various settings
for that?
