Wanna Makers... sequences from the US

I was in a road band named The Gnatz at the end of the beginning of the 80's, and I have been trying to write some American rock drum sequences to sell on floppy for the SD-1. I am considering investing in a Geibler set to convert them to mp3, and .mid I was wondering if anyone had any good pointers as to how to get my SD- 1 to work in my cakewalk music creator 2 software with the game port to midi cabling?
