Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

I have noticed recently that when I first turn on my SD-1, the display is 
dim and that after a while it goes to regular brightness. Is there a quick 
fix for this?  Any ideas?

        This could be the diodes on the PS board, if this occurs for any length of time it could cause damage to the 68000 CPU. Get them checked.
