Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

I have just got an Ensoniq VFX-SD and i have found that it is prone 
to crashing. what is wrong and how do i prevent it? or fix?

Also i am looking for sounds aswell

Hi,
My plain VFX would sort of crash when the power was flaky.
It would still play but the display would go blank.

You might try plugging in somplace that you know has stable clean
electrical power (new wiring, no faders on the lights, etc.).  Or see if
you can borrow a power conditioner from someone.
