Couldn't tell you there. However, I've got other problems with SoundLib.
I've got a MIDIMan MIDISport 4x4 USB interface, which my PC recognizes fine,
both under Win98se and WinXP. And, it shows up in the device listing in
SoundLib. However, I can't get SoundLib to talk to my VFX-SD. Other
programs, such as Cubase, work fine with it.

Subject: [Ensoniq-VFX-SD] Soundlib and USB MIDI driver
I just purchased a USB MIDI interface (Yamaha UX16) for my Windows
98 laptop. The driver is able to communicate with my VFX. I
downloaded and installed Soundlib, but in the configuration menus
there are no drivers listed in the drop-down boxes for "MIDI In"
and "MIDI Out." Actually, there are no devices at all listed in the
drop-down boxes. I downloaded a sequencer, Jazz, which recognized
the Yamaha UX16 driver without any problem. The driver is also
listed in the "Control Panel > Multimedia Devices" MIDI list.
Anyone know what might be the problem?
Thanks,
Will
