Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

I have the boards ready to print and we can have NEW ROM and RAM 
CARTS but we are STILL looking for a small plastic injecting molding 
company to MFG the outer black plastic two part cart case. 

Problem is that we need to find a SMALL start up company that's not 
going to charge us $5000 to $10.000 just for the molds on these tiny 
cases.

There's a plastics injection molding place here in Colorado that I used to work for years ago called Columbine Plastics.  I don't have any idea what they charge for the mold, but they were a pretty simple shop.  Give them a shout.  I do not have the number, but that's the name, in Boulder Colorado.

I am working with a company now called Printec that has a partner in 
Asia.  If you wanted to do this in low quantities, they told me that 
they could do a soft mold for around $500 that would be good for 
about 100 pieces.  I don't know if they could do both molds (for the 
top and bottom) in the same tool or not.  Just search for Printec on 
the internet.  

Have you tried to find the original tooling for these?  I'm sure 
whoever owns it (Ensoniq/Emu) might sell it to you for a price.

Let me know if you find something cheaper, I would be interested, as 
I am looking for a supplier (for more than 100 pieces) for a (bar of 
soap sized) box for a personal project of mine.

   Yes we have cards ready but not cases, I am STILL waiting on a sample case from a member of this group. 

If any of the other members that made offers on the plastic case MFG would like to contact me please do so because I belive we have hit another dead end.
