Fairlight-CMI

Hi Everyone - 

Perhaps someone here can enlighten me...

On a whim, I bought this "MFX" that had previously been listed on a 
certain auction site, knowing that it had no cards in the cage.  I 
was also told that it had no power supply, but that was incorrect.

All of the I/O cards are there, as well as the front and back 
backplanes.  also, all the ribbon connectors, etc.  

Can anyone tell me what I bought and what cards should be in the 
cage itself?

The cards on the back are:

MFX Sync/Control I/O panel
4 x MFX AD O/P (line out and digital out D-Subs)
2 x MFX AD I/O (Line in, line out, and digital I/O D-subs)
The main panel with mixer, video, and modem D Subs.

The Digital Output cards are labeled CMI336 and have a daughter card 
for the analog I/O on them.  They're dated from 1998.  I haven't 
checked the other cards yet.

Basically, I was hoping that it would be a system where I could put 
in a spare set of CMI III computer cards and use it to organize 
sounds and whatnot.  (I don't have a III, but have a lot of tapes 
and disks, as well as a good load of spares)  

Looking inside the chassis, I see only 11 slots in the motherboard 
(Rev. 2.1).

Can anyone tell me what cards should be in here?  What version of 
the MFX is this?

Also, is there anyway to run it with the CMI software and a CMI III 
keyboard?
