Re: [Fairlight-CMI] What is this particular MFX thing?

2005-05-07 by Tim Curtis

Okay, so I'm an idiot...

I took a look at the back again,. In very small letters it says
"Fairlight MFX 3 Plus".

Okay - here's a new question:

I see that the main difference between the MFX3 and the MFX3 plus is the
change in the main processor cards being replaced by the ESP-WX card.
Is the rest of the machine basically the same?

The reson I'm asking is because I'm wondering if I can instead set this
up as a standard MFX3, which I guess can use the CMI software.

Anybody know if the motherboards are the same? How about the I/O cards?

Thanks,

Tim
