Hi Tim, My CMI 2X came with the CMI-07 card installed and wired up to two multiway D-connectors on the rear of the CMI. I noticed that out of all the cards the CMI-07 generated the most heat. I had Peter Wielk do a Papst fan modification significantly reducing the noise of the CMI. I thought as I wasn't using the CMI-07 I might as well remove it and all of the cabling. So, I haven't actually used it properly but would be interested to hear how well it works with CV/Gate analogue synthesizers. Regarding the Syco " conductor " card, I have one of these as well but I have no idea how this actually works with the CMI 2X. Well it looks like I haven't answered any of your questions ! I hope all is well. Regards, James Thomson Magic Audio Co.
