With reference to the web server idea, I dont think any web server is going to mount a native os9 partition. The files are going to have to be placed onto a FAT formatted drive beforehand by CMI expolrer, then ftp or http run against this converted drive. With regard to the 32Mb cards : I would love one, and would pay the going rate for one. With regard to paying for CMI servies, I would be happy to pay the going rate, and there are plenty of bits and peices I need. (and have done for over a year now). I would love for someone to make all of these available as commercial products and services, but I guess there isnt really a big enough market, or more people would have taken up Peter W's offer of remanufactureing cards, and of cousre everyone on the list seems pretty busy (including me), and Speaking personally for myself, I would rather pay someone else to provide serives etc. However, if this is never going to happen, as it is commercially unviable, I will certainly pitch in my time to help, if I can. The problem is, as soon as the process starts, it will no doubt cut off a lot of the possibilities for anyone hoping to make a bit of money out of CMI services. SO the bottom line is , I dont know what would be best for everyone, but i do know I want an 32 meg card, an MFX cable, and a spare power cable ! Dont make me get my RS catalogue and soldering iron out, please !
