To the best of my knowledge there is no bad effect from removing the battery, other than having to reenter the correct date and time at every boot. I have not used my IIx after the battery removal. However, I feel much more comfortable without the batteries than with. (I have multiple Q133 boards). Regards, Harald. > Is it ok to just remove the battery and leave it that way?
