Hi Norm,
I remember that article well. Was a great read. Good luck with your projects.
Kind regards,
Peter

Which article is yours?
Peter,
"All the Fun of the Fairlight" (their title) originally published in Sound on Sound http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/apr99/articles/fairlight.htm
April 1999.
The fee from the article helped pay for my CMI thay came from a college in London. The pictures in the article is my CMI about half way through the rebuild. When I got it there was no output except smoke!
The only thing wrong at present is a couple of non-working keys on the QWERTY keyboard due to it having something dropped on it before I got it. I've moved a few keys so the broken ones ended up as the few keys that are duplicated.
Last project(s) are to either find (or build) a break out box for the analog interface. The other long term project is to find a MIDI retrofit which is about the only option not fitted.
Regards,
Norm
