Thanks, Peter - that's quite an interesting little archive. And quite fun - the New Orleans thing is almost Spinal Tap. :D I've been wondering what sort of music is being made now by Fairlight owners and other people who have Fairlight samples on later instruments. I wonder if we could have a collection of links to Fairlight music from people on here? I'm sure I'm not the only person who'd like to hear what's happening with these instruments. I'm not a Fairlight owner, and I just joined this group out of interest, but last year I asked about the Fairlight dog sample and you gave some information on Candy, the Australian Selkie, which was interesting. I've used the sample of her on a recording and I also have some strange patches incorporating her bark. The recording I did last year is a bit weird - it's a cover of a song by the totally bizarre Anglo/French band Gong. It may be appearing on a Gong tribute thing, so I'll post a link to that if/when it does in case it's interesting to hear Candy again. The piece also includes part of Harald Bode's original demo for his infinite phaser, which was sent to me by someone who worked with Bode, so it's got some extra historical interest. I'm also thinking about a new piece with Fairlight samples and also some sounds I made using a technique developed by Delia Derbyshire. Would that interest people on here, or is it off-topic because it's just partly Fairlight related and not specifically realized on an actual Fairlight?
