Maybe Peter or someone else could answer this question. When did the Fairlight CMI II switch VCF's, from cem 3320's to SSM 2044? Can you give me a rough idea say, all units sold in 1981-2 were CEM, 1983 started with SSM? Also, has anyone ever compared the sound differences between a CEM or SSM model? Do they sound the same? different? any comments? Micah
