I have several floppy disks that all give a read error upon inserting them in page 2. This means that their directory can't be read and subsequently can't be shown on screen. I thought that these disks were unusable due to their old age. Until I tried the following: I typed the load command with the file name I wanted and it worked. My Humans1 disk was unreadable in page 2. After inserting the disk and getting the read error message I typed: L,A,SARARR.VC and the sample just loaded. I was able to do this for all the samples on the disk. I then saved them to a new disk and I know have a new copy of the Humans1 disk. Cheers, David http://dvdborn.blogspot.com
