I'm surprised people are actually bidding on this - does anyone know what exactly they're getting? Most of the pictures and replies are incorrect and very (intentionally?) misleading. He bothered to buy a Fairlight but now conveniently claims he doesn't know anything about it, he "accidentally" put up the wrong pictures, etc. Classic dishonest ebay junk seller tactics. I suspect these pieces could be scavenged (junk) leftover spare parts. The seller makes no claims it powers up or that there's any cards inside! Those thinking of buying this for spares may be disappointed. --- In Fairlight-CMI@yahoogroups.com, "Peter Kersten" <synthserv@...> wrote: > > The system for sale is a series II (or I, however I think it's a > series II).
