Well, it seems that 8" floppies aren't for sale anymore.
As for the progress on the upgrading project: The person that was/is
working on it, told me he would try to get it done before Christmas,
this year. Since over 1 month, I don't get any replies to my mail from
this person, so I begin to fear that he won't be of much help in the
end....

It seems to be possible to hook up a 3.5" drive. Have a look at this:

Has anyone tried this?
