RE: [Fairlight-CMI] mfx3+ disk formatting

2009-02-14 by Steve Rance

Hi Daza,

Is there any chance this disk was formatted as FAT16 or FAT32 (or even
NTFS) before you attached it to the MFX?

Subject: [Fairlight-CMI] mfx3+ disk formatting

Hi Guys!

Looking for some MFX3+ owners that are UK based.

Here's my problem.

Can't seem to format a 36gb seagate to FLFS on my machine.
See's it on boot and it's there, attached, but I get a cache error
message!
So I quit/shell, do my usual "diskinit/ts20-w <RETURN>" for formatting
and "Nothing"!

Need to get another MFX3+ machine, to format the disk.

Any ideas?

Daza

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
