Fairlight-CMI

Hello All You Happy Fairlight Users Out There,

First of all a big thankyou to Klaus (Danke)for the UPS tip after my main fuse blew. The beasty is happy again and humming away as ever.

Due to the power surge that I had I think it may have cause a problem with one of the eight channel cards. 

In the system configuration page where I set up the instuments (I use the fairlighth as a boombox which is controlled by my Imac with logic pro via MIDI - am too lazy to learn the RS page!). When one of the samples is assigned automatically to a channel as normal, and then I assign the routher output manually when required.   

The routers are working fine, but when channel 5 & 6 is automatically asigned by the MFX2 in CMI Mode hardly anything comes through. You can hear it but is very fuzzy and you have to push the mixing desk up to full volume. Have swopped around the sound cards but the problem still persist's.

Does anyone have a clue what is going on.
