Re: [Fairlight-CMI] Is this for real or a joke?

I hardly ever post to this group, but I found myself amused.

I actually used to live in Hollywood across from the Scientology Center, so I know much of their ramblings and wild boasts..

Interestingly the machine in question is one I have actually seen and worked on - A series I later upgraded to a II and in fairly decent shape as I recall. A local used music gear shop (Black Market) had it and I knew the owner and I was the only one he knew that had any knowledge about Fairlights at all. Apparently the machine was in storage and no one down at the Scientology center knew what it was and ditched it! :)

Ron can rest easy knowing it was sold to Andre 2000 and company from Outkast for an undisclosed sum. Perhaps they will be visited by the aliens asking for their device back!... :)

-Cheers...
