Re: [Fairlight-CMI] Re: Syncing a IIx

2010-01-12 by Tim Curtis

This all reminds me. Does anyone out there have any info on the Syco Conductor card?

I've got one of the cards but no interface box to use with it. I could probably reverse engineer it if I could get a little info on what the features were.

It would be nice to know what this thing can do. Probably not all that useful, but certainly a rarity.

Thanks!

Tim

Yeah, the SMPTE is only trigger of start time. No true tempo-mapping.

Cool, thanks for the help !

Glad that you got it to work.

As for the SMPTE sync, that was never implemented at all. IIRC, it
will trigger off SMPTE, but then it just free runs.

I think that they were planning on implementing it in a later
revision, but them they decided to build the Series III instead.
