With the tree shrew to cromagnon man to modern homo sapien progression, or instead of "The Ascent of Man" it could be "The Ascent of Sound" with a lever that when slid all the way to the left, fell under "music starts" and plays a rom sample of cavement clanking bones, move it to the right just a tad to "speech" and it plays a rom of cavemen forming a sound, further still to one marked "transduced sound" and you hear a rom of Alexander Graham Bell saying "can you hear me?" one more to the right under "transcendental sound" and you hear a hippie with summer love love music in the background saying "far out, I hear you, man" then IIX, III, and 30A:)
