If I only had to choose from the preset library I'd have to go with: Channel 1: SymKick (Disk 8 Drums2) Channel 2: Clap5 (Disk 11 Percusn1) Channel 3: Tamb2 (Disk 12 Percusn2) Channel 4: BassPop (Disk 6 Bass) Channel 5: DirtClav (Disk 1 Keyboard1) Channel 6: Sararr (Disk 22 Humans1) Channel 7: Marimba2 (Disk 13 Mallets) Channel 8: MBrass2 (Disk Analog) You're going to need sounds that cover the whole sonic spectrum keeping in mind that people will also play them through the built-in speakers of the iPhone or iPad. - SymKick: Sounds quite powerfull with enough high frequencies in the sound. - Clap5: I like it. - Tamb2: Can be used like a HH in C#5 or like a tambourine in a lower octave. - BassPop: Funky bass slap sound with enough high for the little iPhone speakers - DirtClav: A bright sound with a bite. Again, this will cut through on the little speakers. - Sararr: It has to be in there. :-) - Marimba2: Signature sound, will cover the percussion side of things - MBrass2: A good allrounder, can be used over the whole keyboard range without being unusable I'm curious to what others will suggest.
