Norm... not quite as the Merge command works within one "sample" or Voice as it is called. You can merge between any two segments in a voice not between two segments in different voices. You can however take two voices and join parts of them as long as they don“t exceed 128 segments. This means you can take the attack of a piano and join it with the decay of a flute and then merge between the first and last segment of the new voice ( pianoflute ). You can even go in reverse direction. Interesting sounds to be discovered there :-) WT ----- Original Message ----- From: <NormLeete@aol.com> To: <Fairlight-CMI@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Wednesday, January 19, 2011 11:09 AM Subject: Re: [Fairlight-CMI] IIx: filling in segments between two samples. > > In a message dated 19/01/2011 08:18:14 GMT Standard Time, > lobit12@yahoo.com > writes: > > is it possible to start with a segment from one voice, reference another > voice and fill in the segments between them? > > > there is the merge command for that... >
