Fairlight-CMI

I currently am working on a Series IIx all of the functions of the 
mainframe appear to work fine I.E. loading sounds saving sounds all 
voices appear to work fine. I have a few small issues and was 
wondering if anyone had any insight? 
 First the disk drives just started making a strange noise kinda like 
wurrrr clunk wurrr clunk as it spins this is in both drives. the load 
and save fine just the noise drives me crazy.
 second the keyboard display only reads occasonally with certain 
pages and certain fuctions like "loading page 2" and some voices will 
display names most will not. Also the lighted button switches do not 
light up? 
 Lastly the display on the monitor has vertical lines through it they 
appear equally spaced almost as if they are supposed to be there??? 

Thank you for any direction I have the schematics and plan to start 
trouble shooting these problems I am hoping for some starting points.
