Basically, Peter contacted me a while back and asked if I'd be interested in helping him restore a UK based Series III that used to belong to Ian Stanley of Tears for Fears. I took all of about a nano second to consider it (that's a lie, Peter had me at hello!) and so I now have this beauty here in my studio and a box of goodies is arriving from Oz tomorrow so that we can start the work proper.

It's going to be quite interesting, with Peter sending instructions and parts from half way around the world, but I feel hugely honoured and privileged to be working on a great machine with an equally great man.

Thanks. Be sure to keep an eye on the blog. I'm just uploading a bunch of pictures of goodies I received from Australia today, after getting mugged by Customs for a further £50!!
I love your site, by the way, especially the audio examples!
Regards,
Rob
