Hi Med, in my understanding, all LEDs should lid but it maybe some MFX2 specifics. So, I'll be not making any statement here.
Be careful with "quiet fans" replacement. With so huge difference 15 vs 40, it probably get you lower LFM. I suggest you to double check that by looking into the specs. I think no reason to say, that it could cause overheating issues.
