I do have a mix of channel cards in mine, rev 2/3/4 I believe. There are definitely differences in sound and I do believe this can screw up the page 7 settings for a sound. For instance CP80 loaded straight from disk sounds really weird at first. When I go into page 7 and fiddle with the filter settings it straightens out. I still have 2 'broken' cards lying around, both having trouble with 1 of the 8 bits being stuck in a state causing weird offsets (I can explain how I noticed this but that would take a bit.....) If anybody can give any help with how to fix this. We still don't seem to have the channel circuit diagrams anywhere. Cheers, Patrick P.S. Still not sure if I can make it to THE meeting. Any news on that one? --- In Fairlight-CMI@yahoogroups.com, Daniel Walters <herrdw@p...> wrote: > James, > > I have Rev. 4a cards ( with SSM 2045 chips ) in my IIx.
