I keep
meaning to visit New York (where I got the Fairlight from) as I've always
wanted to but I never get round to it. I would make sure I paid
the seller a visit. In a nice way though. I'm not angry with him, more
frustrated or confused as he is a really great guy to talk to and would be great
to meet him. Just getting him to send stuff is a logistical nightmare. I
don't know why either as I send stuff all over the place, all the
time...

You paid an amazing price for it. Mine (167) was significantly more
expensive.

Yes I do recall, a frustrating experience to say the least.
I sympathize. I picked up my unit in person in LA, it did come with tapes
and CDs. Maybe it's a good idea for you to schedule a trip to his locale
and pick them up in person ?
I am still waiting for an optical drive from another seller, which was due
in december, maybe I should pay him a visit too. A short trip to Ireland
might be nice !
