Fairlight-CMI

Hi to everybody

I'm the new and proud owner of a CMI Series III. I'll follow the 
discussion on this forum and I'll try to gain as much information on 
this amazing machine as possible.

I used to be an Emulator fanatic, but now I'll definately devide 
this passion with the Fairlight.

congrats on getting the CMI

I'm also an Emulator fan,  I have an Emulator II with
a couple of old Mac's and Sound Designer II for EII editing software.

the irony is, I sample a lot of great sounds from new
softsynths like Reaktor and Absynth into my Fairlight and EmulatorII
and marval at how much cooler & creepy they can sound coming out of
both of them, rather than out of my "perfect" AD/DA 24-bit rack units
on my PC's.
