Well, but still- buying a CMI series III 9 (or even II/IIx) would be
the third last thing on my TODO list of life (It's been 20 years since
I wanted to have Fairlight) :)

If it is the same system then I really don't think it's worth £5,500. If I
remember correctly, then it doesn't include a monitor or music
keyboard.

Series III (rev 9.34, I think) sold for £1,200 a few months back on eBay. This
just included the mainframe.
