sincerely think he is genuine, but without a clue. His rating seems VERY good
within eBay.
I did
put in an offer if it doesn't sell, but he rejected. It's essentially half a
Series III with no software rev updates. BTW, does anyone recognise the software
revision of the machine (4.c5.r1.13)? If anyone who buys this and is
wanting to bring it to top spec will have to spend a fortune. Something he
doesn't realise...

Don't make him smarter than he is !
If he's a con, he should remain dumb, otherwise he should educate himself
a bit more if he wants to earn $$ on a Fairlight.
Has anyone asked him for the serial number yet ?
This should prove interesting...
