I didnt know you had bought a series II > I wasnt refering to you, just in general. I really wanted a IIx, but ended up with a series III instead : LOL Still cant complain. The series III is pretty cool. I still have the feeling a IIx would somehow be cooler though. ;)

(and caught a severe cold because of the tropical weather there) The III sounds very nice indeed. It sounds a lot warmer than the Kurzweil K2600XS, but that is also a very capable keyboard. best regards, Harald.

oh, you bought that one. looked like it came with a lot of parts & 2 monitors as I recall. I'm curious as to how it works out for you, also wonder what happened to Talk Talk's old IIx, that a guy on this list was restoring. he sent me e-mail a while back, but never heard how the restoration was going. interesting comparison on the III and the K2600. I have a III and a K2500S with KDFX effects board in it. but I haven't even switched on the K2500S since I got my III back in Feb-March time frame :-) David --- In Fairlight-CMI@yahoogroups.com, feldmann@x wrote: > Jealousy flamer on ;-) > > > I didnt know you had bought a series II > > I bought the one off ebay in Florida a few weeks back. > > > I wasnt refering to you, > > just in general.
