Fairlight-CMI

I have seen this system on ebay twice before .

It is definetely not a Synclavier 9600.
This is a classic Synclavier PSMT system.
The MIDInet interface must have been added at a later time.

MIght nevertheless be a beautiful system if it has been well cept 
and maintained.
This is the Stradivarius of sampling systems. NOTHING sounds 
as good! 
Specs seem good for a 32voicepoly/ 32voice FM 
system,.Software rev. is a bit outdated.

The older systems ( pre 9600,6400,3200,...) tend to sound a bit 
"warmer" and more musical in my humble opinion.

The worth of this system depends  on the specific maintenance 
condition of it's hardware components.

Generally: At fully working condition anything less then $ 6000 
would be a bargain.
