8 inch replacement

Anyone know of the different types of drives that have been tested
and work in the IIX? Or does anyone know why different drives may
not work in the IIx?

I have QumeTrak 242 drives in my IIx, but the service
manual states that the Mitsubishi M2496 drives were
used as well, so I'm sure those two drives will work.

Hi,

The drives I know that work are QumeTrak 242, Mitsubishi M2496-63 and YE
Data-180 drives. These were all used in the CMI 2X from the factory.I hope
this helps.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
