Stand for CMI

In a lot of pictures of the CMI IIx, I see it on a cool stand where
the cpu fits neatly underneath. What stands do you guys use? Or do
you just have it on a desk?

Hi,
That stand which you are talking about was actually designed by Fairlight
themselves for the CMI 2X. These stands are extremely rare. I have only ever
seen one CMI 2X for sale with this stand. It will also work with the series
3 as well. I hope you are enjoying your CMI 2X !

Cheers,

QuickLok 4-legged stands work very well for my gear. Very robust (and
heavy too). I don't trust the X-shaped ones with the heavy keys
(especially the kurzweil keyboard). I tend to keep the CPU away from my
keyboards.
