I just got hold of some tapes, so will be testing my tape drive tonight. Hope it works :-D

Does anyone know if any tape will work, ie when formatted, or does the Series III need a specific tape?

Hi Peter,

DC600 and DC6125 tapes work fine with mine. The "totape" application
will offer you to erase the entire tape before writting your data.
I would recommand you to do so if these tapes are not brand new.
