CMI IIx MIDI

CMI IIx MIDI

2005-03-06 by kar_chicago

I am considering upgrading my IIx with MIDI capability. Does anyone
have the parts available? I have emailed Peter Wielk a couple of
times but get no response. Any leads are appreciated.

I thought the IIx had MIDI as standard, or was this an option
which 'most' people took?

Keep trying Pete, you will get a response. Last time I spoke to him
he was run off his feet with work.

Cheers,
Peter

I will keep trying Peter.

MIDI was an option (and a rather expensive one back then too!).
There is a CMI28 card that is put in the mainframe card cage and a
box that fits on the back of the unit which houses a CMI29 card.
